KENTUCKY COUSINS (RITA B & LEE HODGSON)
In September 2010, after a successful first gig at Margueriteville CMC, Rita B & Lee Hodgson have formed a duo act going under the name of 'Kentucky Cousins'.
Lee has been a professional guitarist, lead singer and harmony vocals since 1979 mainly known as a country picker although he actually plays many different styles including blues, jazz-funk and fusion, often featuring MIDI-guitar (piano, strings etc).
Lee has played thousands of gigs and has been on the country scene since 1987 appearing with Memphis Roots at Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall plus countless of clubs, festivals etc with two bands, Boney Fingers and The Steve Cherelle Band as well as European festivals with the Billy Curtis band.

As well as Rita being a solo performer, singer/songwriter, mainly country, 60s and old time, Rita also is one of a duo, Rita & Annie Humphrey ('Passionate Kisses'). Rita is favourably known for her lively tribute to Brenda Lee and Ladies of Country and Annie does a brilliant and extensive tribute to "Queen" as well as 60s and girl band material. The ladies met when Annie was competing in a local talent show. They connected right from the outset and love to get together regularly for rehearsals to keep up to date with chart hits. Their act is refreshing, always new and their charisma and chemistry on the stage invites the audience to join in for a great party night! After each booking, they are always booked again which gives a good indication that they are received very well.
